BMWs new electric car, called the i3 Concept is being sold as the new “urban mobility”. The new innovations in the car world are all about pleasing the driver, the passenger, and the environment.
And, since this company is known for its high performance engines and superior styling it is about time they got into the race. The i3 Concept looks like it is from the future. The BMW i3 Concept boasts a generous space for both driver and passenger alike. Since much of the gas in a regular petrol consuming vehicle is expended in round the town mileage, this car is perfect for moving around the town. Like for those trips to the grocery store, and taking the family to their activities, this car will take you there while expending very little energy along the way.
This is so highly underrated. I am wondering why news media isn't picking up on this, let alone enthusiast sites or youtubers reviewing EV's. I own a Plug-in Hybrid (2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid) with 30 miles of EV range that we plug in every day (currently have 1,200 miles on our tank of gas since most of our driving is within EV range). The public chargers in my area (greater Seattle area, which is a very hot EV market) are priced so high it's laughable and totally pointless in using them. 0.50 per 1 kWh. 2/hour with max charging rate of 6kWh per hour, and sometimes only 3kWh if the charging station is shared.
