Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 2
NOTE
Separated plug connection = open reference-air duct.
Damage to oxygen sensor.
- DO NOT use spray, grease, fluid or similar products on the oxygen sensor plug connections.
INFORMATION
- Do not interchange the oxygen sensor in front of the catalytic converter with the sensor behind the catalytic converter as this will result in
implausible fault entries.
- The plugs themselves are coded and cannot be interchanged.
Diagnostic conditions
- Driving, at:
- at operating temperature
- Overrun phase(s)
Possible fault causes
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 2 Faulty

Diagnosis information - PDK
Pressure regulator 2 (clutch), short circuit to B+
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
- The following fault is not detected: P1831
- The following fault is not detected: P1839
Possible fault causes
- Line between pressure regulator 2 and PDK control unit, short circuit to B+
- Pressure regulator 2 faulty
- PDK control unit faulty
