The control unit PSM(TC/ABS) initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all



diagnosable outputs are then tested and any faults are stored.



- Ignition on



- PSM(TC/ABS) control unit internal function test



- Actuate foot brake and then release it again



Possible fault causes



- Adjustment of stop light switch not OK



- Stop light switch mechanism not OK



- Short circuit to B+/open circuit



- Short circuit to ground/open circuit



- Plug connection/wiring faulty
