Volkswagen Remote Car Starter Installation Available At Mobile Edge

There has been much debate on the interwebs about whether or not a remote car starter can be installed on a Volkswagen vehicle. Some folks say yes and others say no. So, what is all the confusion about? That being the case, Mobile Edge and many reputable shops throughout the country have stayed away from installing remote starting systems into Volkswagen and many other European vehicles. That has all changed because of recent advancements in remote starter interface technology. We now are able to offer Volkswagen remote car starter installations and confidently tell our clients that they will stand the test of time. When we got a call from an Allentown client asking about a remote starter for his 2013 Volkswagen Jetta TDI, we had a solution. Along with the traditional remote starter, we added the convenience of automatic keyless entry called EZ-GO. When the owner approaches the vehicles the doors automatically unlock without any interaction from the client. The system also locks the doors when he exits. In addition to all this, the entire system can be controlled from anywhere in the world with the DroneMobile app on the owner鈥檚 smartphone. So if you have a Volkswagen vehicle and you want to add a remote car starter to it, look no further than Mobile Edge. Stop by our shop and we will go over the various options available for your vehicle. And while you are here we will give you a tour of our state of the art showroom and installation facility. We have people drive hundreds of miles for our remote starter installations and now we are happy to be able to accommodate those clients with Volkswagens!

We already have three of our four brackets down and secure. We're going to show you this last one here. Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Trio Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TR02. Now we already have our bike connected. We're first going to show you how we strap that down, then we'll go over some features of the rack. So here in the back, we have a ratcheting strap holding our tire in place. We can just push on the button here and lift the strap out of the way. A great think about the cradle and the strap is that it does move up and down the length of your bike rack so you can adapt that for different bikes. Up at the front we have a skewer. Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we're doing a test fit of the Rocky Mounts Lift Up Biggie Ski and Snowboard carrier.

That part number is RKY1482. We already have our front half on, we're going to show you how we load up the back half. The first thing we'll do is make sure that our cables are all facing the right way, and we'll slide it on and line it up with the front as best we can. Then we'll take our cable, bring it around the front, and fit that into this lock here. With that in place, we can take any type of Allen key or Allen tool that will fit, and we'll just tighten this bolt down here on the side. Tightening this bolt is going to actually tighten our strap around the bottom of the crossbar and secure that in place. Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for our crossbars today is RRVA118B-2.

For our Foot Pack, we're using RRRLKVA, and the Fit Kit for the Volkswagen, we're using DK306. We already have our front bar on and loaded up. We're going to show you how we put the last foot pack together, and then we'll show you how we load up the back crossbar. The first things we'll do is take this bolt, here, on our Foot Pack, and loosen that up. We'll then place on our clamp, and we'll tighten that bolt back down just enough so that it holds the clamp in place, and that it's not going to fall off. Then we can flip the Foot Pack over. Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Road Warrior roof mounted bike rack. That part number is RBC036. Now we already have our bike on our rack. We're first going to show you how you strap that down and then we'll go over some other features.
