Asserting zero-emissions, it is one of the very first electric cars to be made by a major Japanese car company. 9. The Lexus HS are for those who crave a luxury. 10. Volkswagen Jetta TDI. With Clean lines and a fuel economy of 44 mpg, this little hybrid is a worthy contender for top green cars. It also comes equipped with a sunroof for sun-worshippers. Environmentally friendly cars are our future. Most of us will be driving hybrid or electric cars eventually. By then, the world hopefully will have been a cleaner and eco-friendlier place.
