Setpoint definitions
NOTE: The specified values and value ranges correspond to the OK state in each case.
Line test setpoints
Short circuit to B+:
- Setpoint voltage -0.5 V --> +0.5 V
Short circuit to ground:
- Setpoint resistance > 0.9 MOhm
Open circuit:
- Setpoint resistance < 2 Ohm
NOTE: The specified values apply only at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 锟斤拷C (68 锟斤拷F) (room temperature).
Pressure regulator setpoints
- Internal resistance > 3.7 --> < 6.4 Ohm
Diagnosis Information - PDK (Dual-Clutch Transmission)
P0968
Diagnosis information - PDK
Pressure regulator 3 (lubrication pressure/cooling pressure), open circuit
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
- The following fault is not detected: P1831
- The following fault is not detected: P1839
- Pressure regulator 3 active
Fault setting conditions
- Internal current measurement, pressure regulator 3: current consumption = 0 mA
- Line resistance between pressure regulator 3 and PDK control unit > 1 MOhm
Possible fault causes
- Line between pressure regulator 3 and PDK control unit faulty
- Pressure regulator 3 faulty
- PDK control unit faulty
Fault effects
- Lubrication pressure control switch-off
- Pressure regulator for lubrication pressure, switch-off
- Torque limitation
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit
