Corrosion Protection Without Hexavalent Chromium VI
Effective July 1, 2008, all chassis components are free of Hexavalent Chromium VI compounds to safeguard the environment.
Some MB Sprinter components or chassis parts may differ in color from earlier parts of the same type. A component formerly coated in black could
now have a yellow zinc coating, or vice versa. The parts will not differ in functionality and do not have to be replaced in pairs or by axle.
