Setpoint definitions
NOTE: The specified values and value ranges correspond to the OK state in each case.
Line test setpoints
Short circuit to B+:
- Setpoint voltage -0.5 V --> +0.5 V
Short circuit to ground:
- Setpoint resistance > 0.9 MOhm
Open circuit:
- Setpoint resistance < 2 Ohm
NOTE: The specified values apply only at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 锟斤拷C (68 锟斤拷F) (room temperature).
Pressure regulator setpoints
- Internal resistance > 3.7 --> < 6.4 Ohm
Diagnosis Information - PDK (Dual-Clutch Transmission)
P17AA
Diagnosis information - PDK
Pressure regulator 2 (clutch 2), shunt
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
- The following fault is not detected: P0964
- The following fault is not detected: P0966
- The following fault is not detected: P0967
Possible fault causes
- Shunt circuit in line between pressure regulator 2 and PDK control unit
- Pressure regulator 2 faulty
- PDK control unit faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Actual pressure regulator current < setpoint current (maximum deviation = 35 mA)
Fault effects
- Power supply switch-off, pressure regulator clutch 2
- Power supply switch-off, pressure regulator for lubrication pressure
- Pressure regulator, clutch 2, switch-off
- Pressure regulator for lubrication pressure, switch-off
- Only gears 1, 3, 5, 7 and R are possible
- Last gear held
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit
With P17AB
P17AB
Diagnosis information - PDK
Pressure regulator 3 (lubrication pressure/cooling pressure), shunt
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
