2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo (970) V8-4.8L Turbo A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ): P Code Charts Page 710
P2263
Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)
Basic boost pressure too low
Diagnostic conditions
- 3 x Full-throttle acceleration:
- 3rd gear (without Gear change)
- Engine speed between 1500 1/min and Max. engine speed
- then steady driving
Possible fault causes
- Leaks between Turbocharger (pressure-side) and Intake valve (Engine)
- Vacuum hose leaks to Frequency valve, boost control or Diverter solenoid valve
- Diverter solenoid valve not installed or installed incorrectly
- Diverter solenoid valve leaks or stuck
- Diverter valve not installed or installed incorrectly
- Diverter valve leaks or stuck
- Frequency valve, boost control electric or mechanical open blocked
- Wastegate Mechanical fault, leaks or open blocked
- Turbocharger (1 or 2) stiff or stuck
Fault setting condition(s)
- Boost pressure (calculated) < Nominal value (dependent from Operating condition)

P2270
Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)
Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1 - Signal too lean / too rich
NOTE:
Separated plug connection = open reference-air duct.
Damage to oxygen sensor.
- DO NOT use spray, grease, fluid or similar products on the oxygen sensor plug connections.
INFORMATION
- Do not interchange the oxygen sensor in front of the catalytic converter with the sensor behind the catalytic converter as this will result in
implausible fault entries.
- The plugs themselves are coded and cannot be interchanged.
Diagnostic conditions
- Perform all short tests in sequence (without Tank tightness).
or
- steady driving > 20 Minute(s), at:
- approx. 80 km/h
- in the highest gear
- Lambda control (Behind catalytic converter) Active
Possible fault causes
- Exhaust system leaks between Oxygen sensor in front of catalytic converter and Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1
- Short circuit to B+/ground/between lines or open circuit in the lines
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1 Faulty
Fault setting condition(s)
- The oxygen sensor signal deviates by a certain value from the control value (rich/lean mixture) within a certain time.
