Pressure sensor 3, signal implausible



Diagnostic conditions



The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are



then tested and any faults are stored.



- Ignition on



Possible fault causes



- Line between pressure sensor 3 and PDK control unit faulty



- Pressure sensor 3 faulty



- PDK control unit faulty



- Hydraulic control unit Faulty



Fault setting conditions



- Measured pressure deviates from the internal plausibility check. Permitted limit was exceeded.



Fault effects

Diagnostic conditions

- Pressure regulator 4, 5 or 6 faulty



- Solenoid valves faulty



- PDK control unit faulty

- Actual measured voltage HS3 > 4 V

- Power supply switch-off, pressure regulators 4, 5 and 6



- Power supply switch-off, solenoid valves
