- Mass air flow > 22.05 lb/h

- then > 30 Second(s) Idle speed

Possible fault causes

- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines

- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the line

- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1 Faulty

P0140

P0140

Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)

Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1

NOTE

Separated plug connection = open reference-air duct.

Damage to oxygen sensor.

- DO NOT use spray, grease, fluid or similar products on the oxygen sensor plug connections.

INFORMATION

- Do not interchange the oxygen sensor in front of the catalytic converter with the sensor behind the catalytic converter as this will result in

implausible fault entries.

- The plugs themselves are coded and cannot be interchanged.

Diagnostic conditions

- Driving > 2 Minute(s), at:

- Engine at operating temperature

- Mass air flow > 22.05 lb/h

- then > 30 Second(s) Idle speed

Possible fault causes

- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines

- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the line

- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1 Faulty

P0141

P0141

Heating current circuit Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1

- Engine running, at:

- Oxygen sensor heater Behind catalytic converter Active > 180 Second(s)

- Lambda control Active

- none of the following faults stored: P0036, P0037, P0038 :

Possible fault causes

- Contact resistance (Power supply or Activation)

- Shunt (high-resistance) Heating current circuit --> Signal lead

- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Bank 1 Faulty
