Audi Q5 Price, Images, Review & Specs

Audi Q5 Variants & Price: The Q5 is available in two variants - Premium Plus and Technology, which are priced at Rs 55.27 lakh and Rs 59.79 lakh (ex-showroom India), respectively. Audi Q5 Engine: The Q5 is available with both a petrol and a diesel engine on offer. Both are 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder units but the petrol one churns out 252PS and 370Nm of torque diesel engine generates 190PS of power and 400Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission which sends power to all four wheels via Audi’s quattro system. Audi claims that the diesel Q5 can go from 0-100kmph in 7.1 seconds and onto a top speed of 218kmph. The petrol Q5 can do the same in 6.3 seconds and has a higher top speed of 237 kmph. Audi Q5 Features: In terms of safety, the Q5 gets eight airbags, Audi Parking System Plus with rearview camera, auto hold function, electromechanical parking brake and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Other features on offer include a 7-inch infotainment system with handwriting recognition, Audi’s MMI interface (with navigation) paired with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a 12.3-inch ‘Virtual Cockpit’ in place of the analogue instrument cluster.

Regenerative breaking also allows the electric motor to recover kinetic energy during coasting and braking to help recharge the nickel metal-hydride battery pack. Touareg Hybrid can drive up to 30 mph on pure electric power. Like all Touareg models regardless of the powertrain configuration, the Hybrid variant has a towing capacity of 7,700 pounds when equipped with the factory-installed tow package. Additionally, buyers can order the Touareg with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Side Assist, Front Assist and Automatic Post-Collision Braking System at an extra cost. For the price, the only rivals to the Touareg that can match it in off-road capability are the Land Rover LR4 and the Lexus GX. More pavement-focused rivals include the fine-driving BMW X5 and the refined Acura MDX. The Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid's largest competitor is probably the less expensive standard Touareg itself, but aside from that the BMW X5 stands the greatest chance of competing in luxury appointments and off road capability. Other capable competitors include the Volvo XC90 and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class. Ground Clearance: 7.9 in. Front Track: 65.0 in. Rear Track: 65.7 in. Passenger Volume: 103.6 cu. Cargo Volume: 32.1 cu. The Upload/Download functional unit services are highly manufacturer specific and not well defined in the standard, so they are not a good way to provide a general upload/download mechanism. Use the ReadDataByLocal/CommonIdentifier services to access ECU data in a way similar to a DAQ list. A Local/CommonIdentifier describes a list of ECU quantities that are then transferred from the ECU to the tester. The transfer can be either single value or periodic, with a slow, medium, or fast transfer rate. The transfer rates are manufacturer specific; you can use the SetDataRates service to set them, but this setting is manufacturer specific. The Automotive Diagnostic Command Set supports single-point measurements. A major diagnostic feature is the readout of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). KWP2000 defines several services that access DTCs based on their group or status. KWP2000 defines services to modify internal or external ECU signals. One example is redirecting ECU sensor inputs to stimulated signals. The control parameters of these commands are manufacturer specific and not defined in the standard. These services are similar to the ActionService and DiagService functions of CCP. You can invoke an ECU internal routine identified by a Local/CommonIdentifier or a memory address. Contrary to the CCP case, execution of this routine can be asynchronous; that is, there are separate Start, Stop, and RequestResult services. The control parameters of these commands are manufacturer specific and not defined in the standard.

You are about to journey down the path of enlightenment, and learn the curious nature and language of a mechanical being. The Volkswagen is a peculiar beast, fed a steady diet of oil and gasoline it will move slowly from place to place. Buses mark their spot. They pee on you when you least expect it. Like a foreign customs agent, it takes time to figure out where they want the grease. They take a little tweak here and there, when something not quite right they tell you if you listen. When you hop behind the wheel of a bus you've got the best seat, as you'll soon experience she's a low flying slow air plane. Flying high enough off the ground to do an oil change, swap master cylinders, and cv joints without jack stands. Head and tail winds effect speed over ground, your steering wheel at speed is more for yaw, in the end she goes where she wants, or doesn't.
