Germany December 2019

Total sales in 2015 mounted to 24.171 units, a 83% increase over last year. 7, a curious fact regarding the all-electric sedan is that despite seeing its sales increase 94% YoY, it actually fell one position regarding the 2014 ranking. In the manufacturers ranking, Volkswagen (20% Share) won its first manufacturers title, followed by Kia (16%), while last year front runner, BMW, ended in Third with 13% share. Best Selling BEV & Small Car: Kia Soul EV, 3.839 units. Best Selling PHEV & SUV: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, 2.128 units. Rookie Of The Year: Volkswagen Passat GTE, 996 units. It is hard to predict 2016 in this market, as it is fertile in surprises, but i would say the VW Passat GTE will become a major player, while the Renault Zoe might finally see its sales increase significantly. Expect new models to appear and make an impact, especially the VW Tiguan GTE. As for sales predictions, i would say that fast growth will continue, so my guess will be around 35-40k units.

It’s the clear choice. Which Is Better: Volkswagen Golf or Honda Civic? The Honda Civic finishes near the top of our compact car rankings and comes in three body styles: coupe, sedan, and hatchback. In any style, the Civic is a fun-to-drive car with an upscale, feature-laden interior. The Civic also gets better gas mileage and costs less than the Golf. In the end, there's not much reason to choose the VW over this Honda. Which Is Better: Volkswagen Golf or Mazda3? Available as a sedan or a hatchback, the Mazda3 is one of the few cars in the class that is arguably more athletic than the Golf. The Mazda's engines deliver good power and fuel economy, and its well-built cabin offers plenty of features. In either body type, the Mazda3 has a lower base price than the Golf. The VW has more cargo space, though. These are both great choices, but the Mazda3 is hurt in our rankings by a very low predicted reliability rating.

How Many People Does the Golf Seat? The Golf seats five people, and both rows have plenty of room for adult passengers. The front seats provide all-day support, but the positioning of the rear seats can be a little too low for tall people to sit comfortably. The Golf has two full sets of LATCH car-seat connectors. The tether and lower anchors are easy to find and use, but you may need to move the front seats forward to fit some car seats. When it comes to materials quality, the Golf rivals some luxury cars. It’s more than just well-built, though. It also has a stylish interior that’s well-insulated from outside noise. Few compact cars can match the Golf for cargo space. This hatchback has nearly 23 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, which is room for a weekend’s worth of luggage for the whole family (and then some). Fold the seats down, and you have more than 53 cubic feet of space, which lets you haul large pieces of outdoor gear and even some furniture.

Standard features in the Golf include a USB port, an eight-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, an infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Available features include a sunroof, a Fender premium audio system, satellite radio, navigation, and an upgraded infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen. The Golf’s infotainment system isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good. The screen’s graphics could be sharper, and some of the buttons are on the small side, but the responsive touch screen has intuitive menu layouts, and there are physical controls for those who want them. Features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, while they’re merely options in some rivals. For more information, read What Is Apple CarPlay? What Is Android Auto? The base Golf comes with a 170-horsepower turbo-four engine that moves the car with ease and feels stronger than many competitors’ engines.
