Taking a broken Volkswagen to a dealer for repairs is a most handy solution to owners - a quick but not exactly a cheap one. It is possible, however, to enjoy less expensive alternatives that ensure the same level of quality. Your local dealer is not the only Volkswagen specialist you can go to. For this reason, "shopping around" is recommended in this case too, as with any other service. Start by looking online for different options, like garages. It could be that you find a small, family owned repair shop with a passion for the brand. Someone dedicated to Volkswagen repairs might come up with better and possibly cheaper solutions than the dealer in your area. It does matter whether you own a recent date Volkswagen vehicle like the very popular Polo or Golf types or a decades old Campervan or perhaps a vintage Beetle. Make sure you know all the important details before you take it for repairs. It will help you locate the better solution. Know the year it was made in, because this is a most important detail.


Try to gather as much information as you can about the car you own, it will ease the work of the repairman and you will be more capable to select the right place. VW repair shops tend to specialize on certain models or decades in the history of the brand. The better the match, the cheaper it's going to be for you. The Volkswagen e-Golf hatchback has a few notable upgrades as well, including a 100 kWh electric motor and a 35.8 kWh LI battery which provides a 125-mile range. The e-Golf’s fuel economy clocks in at a stunning 119 mpg on the highway, which is paired with greater passenger space courtesy of a smaller battery.
