Nissan Sunny is an upcoming sedan from Nissan India. It was first showcased its upcoming sedan at international Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou (china) in 2010. It will be a global sedan which is going for sale first in China in the beginning of 2011 and across 170 countries globally. When it comes to India, The all-new global sedan will be the second brand built under Nissans ‘V podium. According to Nissans official statement, the new sedan will be launched in the mid-2011 in Indian market. Nissans Oragadam plant which is near to Chennai will manufacture the engine of the new sedan. It will compete with the sedans like Volkswagen Vento, Maruti SX4, Toyota Etios, Hyundai Verna and other similar sedans in India. Exterior- the upcoming sedan looks sporty and aggressive. Neatly scratched lines on the outer body will attract you. The halogen headlamps are large which can capture wide area.
The logo of the company right at the center with well designed grill gives ultimate beauty for the sedan. The front fascia is designed in such a way where air intake is easy. It has body colored bumpers and ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors) which is common in sedans. It comes with tubeless tyres and alloy wheels which makes the car even more stylish. It has got 160mm of ground clearance which will make you comfort in rough and tough roads. When it comes to rear view of the car it looks similar to other sedans. Overall you will feel value for your money. Interior-the upcoming sedan will come with outstanding interior features. It is a five seater sedan which is expected to come with dual tone dashboard with instrumental cluster. You will get a hell lot of room inside the car. It gives you enough head and leg room. It will not give you the option of audio control on steering wheel. The seats are smooth, you will fell like home. All the occupants get seats belts; the company ensures the security for all the passengers. Engine- The forth coming sedan will be available in petrol and diesel version. The diesel and petrol engine comes with same power. It will be loaded with 1.5 liter. It can able to churn out maximum power of 100 Bhp and utmost torque of 146 Nm. It will have 5 speed manual gearboxes with 16 valves and 4 cylinders. Nissan Motors has not revealed the price tag of the car, but the petrol version is expected to be priced at 7.5 and diesel version at 8.5 lakhs in Indian market. The expected mileage of this car is 12-16 Kmpl (city-highways).
The Accord is still a better all-around midsize sedan than any of these, so don’t let a lack of AWD put you off considering it. Does fuel economy improve? According to the EPA, no. In fact, Accord’s estimated fuel economy numbers, on average, drop 1 mpg city, highway, and/or combined. However, you can attribute this change to a revised testing methodology by the U.S. ’s designed to more accurately reflect how most Americans drive. With the 2.4-liter engine, Accord rates 23/32/26 mpg city/highway/combined with the manual transmission and 27/36/30 with the CVT. V-6 versions score 18/28/21 with the manual and 21/33/25 with the 6-speed automatic. Hybrids rate an outstanding 49/47/48 mpg. All models use regular-grade 87-octane gasoline. The V-6 engine can shut off three of its cylinder while cruising and under light loads in order to save fuel. Does it have new features? The new Sport Special Edition model adds some amenities that were previously unavailable on the “regular” Sport, however it leaves one important package of safety gear on the table (more on that below).
Otherwise, Accord’s feature set is unchanged for 2017. All models include a rearview camera and Bluetooth connectivity with support for SMS text messaging, streaming audio, and Pandora Internet Radio. The Sport adds a power driver’s seat, split-folding rear seatbacks, a sport suspension, and the Touring’s 19-inch wheels. EX-L versions gain leather upholstery with heated front seats. Touring models are fully loaded, with a navigation system, heated rear seats, full LED headlights, and the company’s Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes radar-based adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with automatic steering correction, and pre-collision emergency braking. Perhaps because this trim level will only be around for one model year, the bean counters did not deem it cost effective to offer the package on this version.
