Troubleshooting LG Sound Bar Problems

LG sound bars come in various shapes and sizes and can accommodate nearly any budget. A sound bar is a great alternative to a full-blown home theater system, and can give your out-of-the-box TV audio more than a little added pop. Common issues you can run into with LG sound bars include no audio, power problems, remote control problems, and more. Use troubleshooting to work through these challenges and get your soundbar back up and running. Check that the power cable connected to the LG sound bar is firmly connected. If the device still isn't working, verify that the outlet you're attempting to connect the sound bar to doesn't work by connecting a device that you know does, such as a lamp. If that device works, then you'll need to contact LG and raise the issue with them, or return the device to the reseller you purchased it from and see if you can exchange it. If you are playing audio from a connected Bluetooth device, ensure that the volume is turned up on both the source device and the LG sound bar.

Also, ensure that neither the sound bar or the source device is muted. Verify that you've selected the correct input source. Check the back of the device to ensure you know what input to look for. Also, try cycling through the inputs in the event you misread the input the device was actually connected to and that audio is actually coming out of another input. Make sure the subwoofer associated with the sound bar is firmly connected to the outlet it's plugged into. If the unit is getting power, the issue is most likely associated with the Bluetooth connection. Un-pair and then re-pair the subwoofer with the sound bar to see if this resolves your issue. Ensure that the remote control is within roughly 30 feet of the LG sound bar. Also, ensure that the two devices have a clear line of sight to each other. Try putting fresh batteries in the remote control to see if that resolves the issue. If the batteries in the remote are low, the device will connect intermittently and won't work at longer distances.

The LG Sound Sync feature lets you control the audio volume associated with your sound bar through an LG TV that supports the Sound Sync feature. Setting the functionality up requires an initial pairing. If you've already paired the two LG devices but are not able to control the sound bar's volume using your TV remote, try un-pairing and then re-pairing the two devices in the Sound Sync section on your TV. Alternatively, if you didn't pair the device's previously, verify that you're TV actually supports the Sound Sync feature. Navigate to the audio settings on your TV and try changing the Audio Digital Output option to either Auto, Bitstream, or Primary Pass Through. Check your TV's audio settings and verify that dynamic range compression (DRC) is turned off. Nearby devices that send and receive wireless signals are the biggest offenders when it comes to interfering with the audio output quality of Bluetooth speakers. Consider moving these types of devices, such as baby monitors or other large electronic devices, to a different location. The issue may not actually be with your LG sound bar, but rather with the audio quality of what you're watching. For example, if you're watching TV through either a dish service or an HD antenna, rain or a cloudy day could interfere with the audio feed associated with the show you're watching. I can still get sound with optical connection, however, the screen says optical instead of LG OPT. Also, not all of the sound bar remote control buttons work and I can't control the sound bar with the LG magic remote.

The alternator is driven round and round by the fan belt, and when turning generates 12 volts that charges the battery AND feeds back through the wiring harness to the distributer, which feeds the spark plugs, which fire the engine. Defective alternator, dead cell in battery, something on pulling power from the battery when the vehicle is idle, corroded battery cable connections, or loose alternator drive belt.
