Volkswagen Jetta Price In India, Images, Mileage, Features, Reviews

Walkaround interior exterior VW T-Cross - 동영상
Volkswagen Jetta received a mid-life facelift in 2015 limiting to mild cosmetic changes made to the exterior and interior. Mechanicals remain unchanged with the same 2.0 litre TDI and 1.4 litre petrol units powering the line-up. Both the engines are available with a six-speed manual gearbox and there is also an option for a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch unit. This implies absolutely no change in the performance of the car. Starting from Rs 14.15 lakh, Jetta is a good mix of comfort gizmos, premium interiors and powerful engines. Despite receiving cosmetic upgrades, the facelift version remains largely the same. Inside, it gets some styling updates and additional kit such as a new steering wheel and a new infotainment system. Under the skin, it remains intact and hence there is no change on the performance front. Most of the changes are made to the front with the head-lamps merging into the new radiator grille, bumper and fog lamps.

Waterproof ElectronicsLook from the side is identical to the pre-facelifted model. Rear side looks a tad different with new boot-lid and tail-lights. Nothing significant inside the cabin as it carries forward same layout as its predecessor. The dual-tone black and beige interior colour scheme works well for the premium saloon. Additionally, it also gets a new twin-tube instrument cluster and new flat-bottom steering wheel reminiscent of Polo and Vento. Besides, it also gets a revised infotainment system. Jetta derives power from a 1.4 litre, TSI petrol and 2.0 litre TDI engine. Exterior profile sports dual exhaust pipes, steel spare wheel, rear fog light, front fog light with static cornering lights, bi-xenon head-lamps and LED DRLs. Cabin also gets a bunch of features including new sporty flat-bottomed steering wheel, front centre arm-rest with storage box, rear AC vents, lockable & illuminated glove compartment, rear arm-rest and leather upholstery. Fuel economy delivered by the petrol engine is rated at 14.7km/l. The diesel manual version is claimed to return 19.333km/l as opposed to 16.96km/l by its automatic variant. It sports an integrated touchscreen audio system with Aux-In, CD player and speakers, Bluetooth connectivity for cell phone operation is also available. Front and rear axles get disc brakes for retarding speed. As for the suspension set up, it is quite crisp keeping the vehicle poised over pot-holes and erratic surface. Like other Volkswagen models, Jetta gets plethora of comfort features. It gets climatronic, front seats with height adjuster, park distance control, rain sensor, power-operated exterior mirror with electrically folding and heated functions. Other than the aforementioned features, it also comes with paddle shifters, lumbar support for driver’s seat, 12-way electrically adjustable driver seat, power windows and 2 units of 12V power socket.

A temporary power source might be installed to avoid the possibility of losing radio presets or stored data in the PCM while the battery is out. When the battery is already completely dead, this step is unnecessary. The vehicle’s negative cable is removed from the battery, followed by the positive cable. The battery tie down system is loosened and the old battery removed. Cable ends and wiring are carefully inspected to ensure cleanliness and no corrosion. In some cases, corrosion can be extreme and the cable may need to be replaced or wiring repaired. The new battery is installed and the tie down system is reinstalled. Anti-corrosion compound is applied to the battery terminals. The positive terminal is reconnected followed by the negative terminal. Some vehicles, for example some models of BMW, VW, and Audi, may require PCM programming to input battery parameters. This step, performed using a specialized scan tool, is necessary to maximize battery life and prevent electrical system malfunctions. The car is started and charging system output is measured and compared against the factory OEM specification to ensure that the new battery will properly recharge. Generally, charging output will be in the range of 13.8 to 14.8 volts but the exact specifications vary by make and model.

I have not gone camping in some time now so I figured I would post all my pictures of camping trips from the past. So I have tried to arrange them so that the same location is together. However, each location may have several trips grouped together. The first is my favorite location for camping. It is McCain Valley near the town of Boulevard in Eastern San Diego County. The campground that is pictured is called Cottonwood. It is about 14 miles in on a dirt road that winds through some scenic areas. The above is one camp site that is within the Cottonwood campground. This picture is a different view of the above camp site. This one is one site to the right from the site above. That is my daughter playing some video game at the table. This picture was take several year ago. This is a third camp site that I stayed in within the Cottonwood campground. On the 14 mile dirt road, these wind mills can be seen on the nearby indian reservation.

This picture is actually off the beaten path of the dirt road. This is the Impossible RailRoad built in the early 1900s. There are several tunnels built in this mountain track. Many men lost their lives building this in the past. There are many views from McCain Valley. This is one the view points that you can get a vehicle. You can see the view behind my bus. Jessieca texting with a great view in the background. Pictures on the way to the Cottonwood campground. I actually used my bus to pull a trailer with ATVs to the dunes. This area is called Buttercup. Buttercup is about 15 miles west of the Arizona and California borders. It is just north of the Mexican border by about a mile. Very nice smooth dunes for some nice riding. When I want to ride on some hard pack, I go to Ocotillo Wells. The above picture is when I first started pulling a trailer with the ATVs.
