From what I know, the idle is being really weird and these squiggly lines pop up along with his check engine light if he accelerates too much, which apparently means an engine control malfunction, possibly something with a converter. So now we are stuck in a state, and my brother desperately has to reach an internship 11hours away in ND by Monday and all the VW dealerships are closed . I鈥檓 writing this as a last ditch effort to figure out if there is something we can do to fix it ourselves so he can make it without damaging the engine or just anything helpful really.
