It is almost inevitable to be stuck behind someone who is cannot maintain a consistent speed. You find yourself trying to use that cruise control, only to have to turn it off because suddenly the person in front of you has slowed down. It鈥檚 frustrating, but something you won鈥檛 have to worry about once you learn how to use Volkswagen Adaptive Cruise Control. Adaptive Cruise Control, or ACC, is just what it sounds like. While regular cruise control simply holds a speed you set, ACC maintains the following distance automatically using your front sensors. This means that if the person in front of you slows down, your Volkswagen will slow down too without the need to cancel cruise control and reset it. So how do you use it? 3. You can pause the ACC by hitting Cancel or braking. 4. Increasing/decreasing speed works as usual for cruise control. Not only is ACC useful on single lane highways, but we鈥檙e sure you can imagine how convenient it is in heavier traffic. What is the top driver assistance feature you wish you had?
