Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)



Control deviation Boost pressure



Diagnostic conditions



- 3 X Full-throttle acceleration :



- 3rd gear (without Gear change)



- Engine speed between 1500 1/min and Max. engine speed



- then steady driving



Possible fault causes



- Leaks between Turbocharger (pressure-side) and Intake valve (Engine)



- Leaks between Diverter solenoid valve and Turbocharger or Engine



- Vacuum hose leaks to Frequency valve, boost control or Diverter solenoid valve



- Diverter solenoid valve not installed or installed incorrectly



- Diverter solenoid valve leaks or stuck



- Diverter valve not installed or installed incorrectly



- Diverter valve leaks or stuck



- Frequency valve, boost control electric or mechanical open blocked



- Wastegate Mechanical fault, leaks or open blocked



- Turbocharger (1 or 2) stiff or stuck



Fault setting condition(s)



- Boost pressure (measured) < Nominal value (dependent from Operating condition)
