2019 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan

The 2009 Volkswagen Jetta comes well-equipped and value-priced for those who want a small but roomy sedan or wagon, while the GLI model is a sophisticated sport sedan that also has strong value-for-money appeal. The Jetta and GLI line is also a safety standout, as one of only a few compact sedans and wagons at any price to offer available side-thorax air bags for rear-seat occupants. With the addition of the new SportWagen body style, the Jetta becomes an efficient alternative to sport-utility vehicles. What's new for 2009? For 2009, Volkswagen introduces a new Jetta model in the SportWagen and a new engine in the diesel TDI, which will be offered in both sedans and SportWagens. The attractive SportWagen features plenty of room for people and their stuff, while the TDI is a 2.0L 4-cylinder diesel putting out 140 hp and 236 ft-lb of torque. TDI Jettas will be the first cars to meet the world's strictest emissions standards, California's Tier II, Bin 5. The TDI should be good for about 41 mpg on the highway.

The diesel model gets much better ratings, at 30/42 mpg. Reviewers said that most Jetta trims have controlled handling, but some wished for more steering feel. Others commented that the Jetta GLI has sportier handling and more accurate and responsive steering than the base Jetta. Reviewers agreed that the interior found in lower Jetta trims has a nice design, but isn鈥檛 as nice as that of the GLI, which has higher-quality materials. However, the Jetta鈥檚 front and rear seats received high marks for their comfort and space. Reviewers were pleased that the Jetta鈥檚 climate and touch-screen audio controls are easy to operate. The Jetta offers 15.5 cubic feet of trunk space, which is very good for the class. The base Jetta comes with few standard features, but a Fender stereo, navigation, a power sunroof, leatherette seats, heated front seats, Bluetooth, an iPod interface, satellite radio and a touch-screen stereo are available. Reviewers loved the 2012 Volkswagen Golf鈥檚 composed handling and high-quality interior. The Golf is also available with the same reviewer-liked diesel engine found in the Jetta, which helps it achieve great fuel economy for the class. Reviewers said the 2012 Ford Focus is entertaining to drive and has a high-quality, comfortable cabin. The Focus is available as a sedan or hatchback.

450 option on the base S model. A longer list of features for the SEL and SEL Premium trim levels includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic capability, high-beam assist, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist. The Volkswagen Jetta also has a standard post-collision braking system designed to help prevent a second collision after an initial crash. The way the Jetta鈥檚 pricing better matches rivals is a measure of VW鈥檚 renewed effort to be a volume mainstream brand in the U.S. It鈥檚 also not something VW has always done well in the past. But from base model to the top of the line, the 2019 Jetta has been configured for competitive features for the dollar against comparable trim levels in rivals, particularly the Civic and Corolla. 200 above the deluxe Civic Touring. 24,000 to start, but also stops well short of the VW and Honda in premium goodies, such as leather seats and smartphone integration. 1,830 less than the previous-generation SEL. For that price, it comes with LED projector headlights, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, the interior ambient lighting, the digital instrument display, the BeatsAudio upgrade, an 8-inch multimedia screen and the full suite of safety and driver assistance features. If that package and price sound a lot like the well-equipped Honda Civic EX-L with Honda Sensing driver tech, that鈥檚 surely no coincidence. And like all 2018 and newer Volkswagens models (except the e-Golf), the 2019 Jetta adds reliability peace of mind with VW鈥檚 six-year, 72,000-miles, bumper-to-bumper warranty that can be transferred to a subsequent buyer. Car of the Year 2015 title. The past 7 Generations of Volkswagen Passat! The Passat Comfortline version. Very nice seat controls on the side.. The Passat Highline version. When the brake is engaged, the LED rear lights will switch from horizontal light signature to vertically oriented brake light signature which produces three vertical lines. The visual signal change makes the brake lights more perceptible, and this increases traffic safety. I personally feel that this is COOL! This is another Highline model of a different colour. Nice food and desserts served at the launch. I must say that the desserts are really Good! The green one is a dessert with Pistachio and the purple thing is actually a very soft dessert with cream in it. And the macaroon is the BEST I've ever eaten! It's not very sweet like those I ate outside. It is just nice and delicious! So Volkswagen gave me a Passat? Yes.. they gave me a very nice display model of it! I think its a very good goodie bag item for car launches! Its a pretty simple but yet exclusive media launch. I had good opportunity getting up-close to the car and also got to sit-in and have the first-hand feel of it! At the media launch.. I also got to see editors like David Ting from Torque magazine, Deborah Tan from the Material World and Rene Kevin Anthony from REVV Motoring!
