2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo (970) V8-4.8L Turbo A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ): P Code Charts Page 77
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
Possible fault causes
- Clutch faulty
- Hydraulics faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Engine speed - shaft speed 1 - desired slip > maximum permissible slip
Fault effects
- Gear held
- Moving off in 2nd gear
- Only gears 2, 4 and 6 are possible
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit
Clutch 2 Slips With Low Differential Speed
P17B1
Diagnosis information - PDK
Clutch 2 slips with low differential speed
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
Possible fault causes
- Clutch faulty
- Hydraulics faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Engine speed - shaft speed 2 - desired slip > maximum permissible slip
Fault effects
- Gear held
- Moving off in 3rd gear
- Only gears 1, 3, 5 and 7 are possible
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit
Diagnosis Information - PDK (Dual-Clutch Transmission)
P17B1
Diagnosis information - PDK
Clutch 1, implausible control pressure
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
- The following faults are not detected: P0841, P0843, P181A
Possible fault causes
- Shunt in wire harness
- Clutch faulty
- Hydraulics faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Actual pressure at clutch 1 < touchpoint + offset (1 bar)
- Actual pressure at clutch 1 < prefilling pressure + offset (0.6 bar)
