Input shaft overspeed
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
Possible fault causes
- Speed sensors faulty
- Lines faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Rotational speed of shaft 1 or shaft 2 below threshold value
- Rotational speed of shaft 1 or shaft 2 above threshold value
Fault effects
- No power transmission
- Limp-home message in instrument cluster
