- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit

Setpoint Definitions

P1706

Setpoint definitions

NOTE: The specified values and value ranges correspond to the OK state in each case.

Line test setpoints

Short circuit to B+:

- Setpoint voltage -0.5 V --> +0.5 V

Short circuit to ground:

- Setpoint resistance > 0.9 MOhm

Open circuit:

- Setpoint resistance < 2 Ohm

NOTE: The specified values apply only at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 锟斤拷C (68 锟斤拷F) (room temperature).

Control unit setpoints

- Supply voltage for pressure sensor and displacement sensor 5 V

- Supply voltage for speed sensor 8.5 V

Diagnosis Information - PDK (Dual-Clutch Transmission)

P1706

Diagnosis information - PDK

Sensor supply voltage 5 V too low

Diagnostic conditions

The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are

then tested and any faults are stored.

- Ignition on

- The following fault is not detected: P1752

Possible fault causes

- Line between pressure sensors and PDK control unit faulty

- Line between displacement sensor module and PDK control unit faulty

- Pressure sensor 1 faulty

- Pressure sensor 2 faulty

- Displacement sensor module faulty

- PDK control unit faulty

Fault setting conditions

- Sensor supply voltage < 4.5 V

Fault effects

- Gear held

- No R gear

- No emergency program diagnosis

- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit

Sensor Supply Voltage 8.5 V Too Low

P1707

Diagnosis information - PDK

Sensor supply voltage 8.5 V too low
