Precautions Before Using U281 CAN VW Memo Reader

Precautions Before Using U281 CAN VW Memo Reader

It is universal knowledge that when we get something new, we first pay attention to how to use and use precautions. What should we do when we have an U280 CAN VW memo reader? Here I would like to list some points that we should do before using U280. 1.Always perform automotive testing in a safe environment. 2.Wear safety eye protection that meets ANSI standards. 3.Keep clothing, hair, hands, tools, test equipment, etc, away from all moving or hot engine parts. 4.Operate the vehicle in a well-ventilated work area; Exhaust gases are poisonous. 5.Put blocks on drive wheels and never leave vehicle unattended while running testes. 6.Use extreme caution when working around the ignition coil, distributor cap, ignition wires and spark plugs. These components create hazardous voltages when the engine is running. 7.Put transmission in PARK (for automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL (for manual transmission) and make sure the parking break is engaged. 8.Keep a fire extinguisher suitable for gasoline/ Chemical/ electrical fires nearby.

9.Don't connect or disconnect any test equipment with ignition on or engine running. 10.Keep the code reader dry, clean and free from oil, water and grease. Use a mild detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the code reader, when necessary. LCD DISPLAY- Indicates test results. It is a backlit2-line display with 8 characters on each line. READ BUTTON- Retrieves and Scrolls through Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs) stored in the Vehicle's systems. ERASE BUTTON- Erases Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)and "Freeze Frame" data from the vehicle's memory. OBD II CONNECTOR- Connects the Code Reader to the vehicle's Data Link Connector(DTC). 2.Reads and erases Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs) of Engine, ABS, Airbags and Automatic Transmission. The MemoScan U281 CAN VW/AUDI Code Reader is specially designed to work with most Volkswagen and Audis sold Worldwide of 1990 or newer models. If a VW/AUDI has a 16-pin "OBD-II style" Data Link Connector(DTC),the code reader will certainly work, If it has an old-style 2x2 Data Link Connector(DTC),then it depends on whether there are 4 or 3wires connecting to the pins. If there are 4 wires each connecting a pin, then it will work. If there are only 3 wires, leaving one pin disconnected, then it will not work. For VW/AUDIs with old-style 2x2 Data Link Connector(DTC), you need to have a 2x2 cabling adapter which is not included in this product package. That's all I have found till now, if I can find more information about this U281, i will add more information to it. I hope after reading you are more familiar with this auto diagnostic tool.

Police forces across Britain have made millions of pounds selling recovered items and the proceeds of crime on eBay, ranging from designer clothes to hippy crack. The massive haul of ill-gotten gains sold by Leicestershire Police, including a drugs kingpin's private jet used to smuggle cocaine into the UK, was revealed yesterday. And today, MailOnline can reveal the thousands of luxury, personalised and sometimes bizarre goods sold by police forces across Britain force eBay accounts. A Range Rover Sport from Leicestershire Police's eBay account. A Louis Vuitton bag, sold for 拢528 by Leicestershire. Devon and Cornwall, Leicestershire, Sussex and Nottinghamshire forces are all using the online auction site and have sold an array of luxury and even illegal goods. Over the last two months, Devon and Cornwall Police sold listings worth more than 拢8,000, and recent listing range from simple items such as batteries to gas masks (拢36) and a rifle magnifying scope (拢15). It sold them as canisters for whipped cream, which is legal, but it is widely known that people use them to blow up balloons before inhaling the gas for a brief, euphoric high.

But government drugs advice website FRANK says it can cause unconsciousness and even death. The more rural force sells sold dozens of bikes throughout the year, as well as earning hundreds of pounds from individual gardening tools, but has not listed big ticket items such as cars like Leicestershire. The most expensive item the force sold in 2016 appears to be a set of tyres, according to the schedule of listing obtained via a freedom of information request, but no other details are available. In 2015, it made more than 拢700 from the sale of razors alone, a small and high-value item that is popular among shoplifters. It has also sold numerous weapons including wooden samurai swords and high-tech bows and arrows used for hunting. And, contrastingly, it has also sold dozens of beauty products including anti-wrinkle cream and a twin-pack of No 7 make-up with the tagline 'just for the ladies'. But unlike Leicestershire, it does not sell items confiscated through the Proceeds of Crime Act, only lost or stolen items when the owner cannot be located.
