This Is The 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI

With just one week left until the Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen has published the first photos and production details of the seventh-generation Golf GTI. For the first time in its history, the Golf GTI will be offered in two versions, meaning a 220 HP regular and a 230 HP Performance variant. Both will be powered by turbocharged 2.0-liter engines and will have a peak torque of 258 lb-ft. The difference between the two is even smaller when it comes to other performance figures, such as 0 to 62 mph sprints, 6.4 seconds for Performance and 6.5 seconds for the regular, or top speed, 155 mph vs. 153 mph in favor of the Performance GTI. We're not at all impressed, but Volkswagen must have something up its sleeve. Volkswagen will start taking orders for the 2013 Golf GTI in early March in Germany, and May for Europe. Prices are starting from EUR28,350.

The 2016 Volkswagen Amarok(with VW navigation) competes in one of the fiercest and most competitive growth segments of the Australian vehicle market; the pickup utility sector. The 2016 Volkswagen Amarok(with VW navigation) competes in one of the fiercest and most competitive growth segments of the Australian vehicle market; the pickup utility sector. This makes it very difficult for any fresh carmaker to come in and take a slice of the pie. In terms of sales and volume, the Amarok lags behind HiLux, Ranger, Colorado, Navara, D-Max, Triton and BT-50, taking just six per cent market share so far this year (through April). This probably has more to do with the loyalty of customers in this segment, sticking to the trucks they know and trust, rather than the quality of the product itself. Risk-averse fleet customers in particular are strong proponents of the 鈥榠f it ain鈥檛 broke, don鈥檛 fix it鈥?mantra.
