The 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI Rabbit Edition celebrates the hatchback's long production history with unique badging and styling. The 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI Rabbit Edition has arrived at Carter Volkswagen. Limited to only 3,000 models in the United States, the Rabbit Edition sits between the S and SE trims of the 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI in terms of feature availability. This four-door hatchback seats up to five passengers and has an interior volume of 116.3 cubic feet. The 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI Rabbit Edition is powered by the same engine found in every 2019 Golf GTI trim: A turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine which generates 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is slightly more powerful than the powertrain found in 2018 Golf GTI models, which had an output of 220 horsepower. The 2.0L engine found in the 2019 Golf GTI can be paired with either a seven-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. In addition to the standard features found in all 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI models, the Rabbit Edition trim adds several optional features. Some of these features are exclusive to Rabbit Edition models, such as a black spoiler, unique Rabbit Edition branding and black mirror caps. Other Rabbit Edition features include a blind-spot monitoring system, automatic emergency braking, adaptive LED headlights, a forward collision warning system and rear cross-traffic alert. Website visitors can also order replacement Volkswagen parts, schedule a test drive and calculate fuel savings.

Engine: Two electric motors, 225 kW system power. Why it matters: VW will be producing 鈥淚.D.鈥?models based on a new modular electric drive kit (MEB), with the Crozz expected in 2020, likely first in China and Europe. The I.D. Crozz is a crossover, mixing the convenience of an SUV with the driving dynamics of a four-door coupe. On design, VW is taking cues from Apple. The concept Crozz features a wide hood, cleanly contoured wings and a glossy black roof. The interior鈥檚 versatile seating area emphasizes open space, with the swinging and sliding doors opening widely enough to bring in a crossbike. 鈥淲e are currently redefining the Volkswagen values for the age of electrification,鈥?Klaus Bischoff, head of VW brand design, told Reuters at the Geneva auto show. VW predicts range to be 500 kilometres, based on generous European ratings, and recharging to 80-per-cent battery capacity in 30 minutes, using a Level 3 fast-charging system. By centering the battery and installing drive system units at front and rear, VW says ideal weight distribution will be achieved, thus enabling handling similar to the Golf GTI鈥檚. Making its Canadian debut at the show, the Jetta GLI is slightly different under the hood than the Jetta at your friendly local dealership. A specially tuned, 2.0-litre, turbocharged engine produces a whopping 600 horsepower; it hit a record 338 km/h on the Bonneville Salt Flats in September. Stay on top of all our Drive stories. It has been about two years or so since I started this blog about motoring here where I live. I've raved about certain cars, rubbished a few more cars and made my hatred towards most MPVs and also towards the current Honda City. There are some who are bound to ask on what grounds do I have the authority to lambast a person who drives a certain sort of car or whether I have actually driven the cars I've written about. The answer to that is "Yes, you fools!". I basically write about what I've experienced or on what I have noticed. I have basically enherited my passion for cars from my late Grandfather, who when he was around bought his first car in the late fifties after riding on British made motorcycles before that. Now the reason why I didn't bother to take up driving was that during that period, I was a truly lazy human being.

Even more lazy than now. I had the pleasure of living in Gombak exactly where the Bus Mini Wilayah Number 14 had its last stop. I mean, I could go to KL and back and not have a problem with seating. All I had to do was ensure I had 3 Ringgit in my pocket, of which .50 sen would take me to Central Market and another .50 sen would take me back. 1 Ringgit would be used as change for 5 20 sen arcade games and another Ringgit for a drink. Live was absolutely simple back then. So it did not make me realise until my pal rubbed it in that I should talk about driving when I had a licence infront of our Form 6 classmate, which was a girl. Now having your ego shot down in front of a girl would usually make most teenage boy suddenly change his mind about something.
