Mods And Repairs: What Should I Name My Car?

Mods And Repairs: What Should I Name My Car?

What should I name my car? Its a black VW Jetta Wolfsburg edition! I dont name my vacuum cleaner! Haha its just for fun! Half the people I know have a name for their car! Geez people get way to serious on here.. I don't know. What did you name your Fridge and Vacuum Cleaner? Try calling it and see if it comes. I need to take an old broken washing machine to the tip. Trouble is that my VW Polo looks too small. Anyone tried to fit a washing machine (a standard size front loader) in the back of a Polo, with the seats folded down? No it will not allow the door to be closed even if it goes in at all. 1. Take one tape measure. 2. Measure boot opening and loading space in the car. 3. Measure washing machine. 4. Compare sizes. If car is bigger than washing machine, then go for it. If you fold down the seats then a standard size washing machine will definitely fit in a Polo.

Remember to tip the machine upside down before you put it into the car so all the old yukky water drains out onto the ground and not in the back of your car. I say buy a use car for now. Since its your first car. TDI means turbocharged direct injection. It gets infinity miles per gallon of gas, because it doesn't run on gas, it runs on diesel fuel, on which it'll return anywhere from 35-45mpg, depending on transmission and driving habits. It's a really excellent car that I would recommend for almost anyone regardless of age. It's comfortable and handles very well. If you really want to be practical, get a white one, not a black one. Black cars get very hot when out in the sun, so you'll have to use the A/C more (which uses more fuel), and they are harder to see at night. I'm a 16 year old guy and also looking into looking my first car.

I did countless hours of research on what is the best choice. First of all, I would buy a new car new. It will cost a lot of money, and will drop in value right away. I'm very pro German Engineering so VW, Audi, BMW and Mercedes are my top choices. BMW, Audi and Mercedes are out of my price range so that leaves Volkswagen. I looked into the stats of a 2000-2001 VW jetta and found out that Jetta's are very safe, reliable and cost efficient. BUT, that the model with the 2.0 liter engine is a lot of trouble. It is nothing but trouble. STAY AWAY FROM IT. Also, TDI is the Turbo model which you will not have any use for as a first time buyer. I will buy the 2001 1.8L VW Jetta which is everything I need. It is relatively cheap, and will last for a while.

Also as a tip. I would go for the Diesel engines since they are hard to kill. Jetta, I wouldnt buy it if it has more than 180000K on it (which actually is a lot already). You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Is it possible to add an air conditioning system to an old beetle? If so, how much would that cost or are there any for sale in the Houston, Texas region? There were a few of the old Beetles that had a/c, but trying to find new aftermarket kit, or a used one that can be repaired, would be next to impossible and very expensive as collectors would want them. 1000 it can be done. Here is an ad for what you need. 1022575 Also try the main page of the site and do a site search for air conditioner. These cars have so little power to start with, adding the extra load of AC would be too much of a strain on the engine. This company produces an aftermarket kit and I've read good things about it.

I did have a '73 Beetle that had factory AC and it worked great. As far as draining power, it did have a noticeable effect, but no more than any 4 cylinder car in my opinion. And if you're in Texas, it's probably flat (not having to climb hills), I think you'll be fine. Will tinting my 3 back windows on my vw golf gti mk4 attract attention to the police? Ok so I want to tint them. I do not want to get stopped every day by police, so should I not tint them? The back & sides can be as dark as can go apparently, but the front has to be light. Contact DVLA as there is a section there that will advise you. Some cars windows are already factory tinted, so you could go over the light limit without realising. 35 %. I tinted my whole jetta 3 years ago and still no problems with the cops.
