The water pump has a small weep hole in the case near the shaft and pulley. Without specialized equipment to examine the water pump it is impossible to see the weep hole without removing parts in the way of view. The biggest takeaways here is that the Jetta does feel more premium, and again that鈥檚 because of how it鈥檚 in a class above the Kicks despite being barely a few inches larger than the crossover.
