I am looking at the Jetta or Passat- what are their reputations & are maintanance/repairs more costly than they would be for a Toyota or Honda? Remember, VWs were designed in Germany where they still have unlimited speeds on the Autobahns. They must meet strict safety standards for this reason alone.
