2020 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe Is An Instant Classic

Engines with higher compression ratios perform best with higher octane fuels (91-premium) because the air/fuel mixture does not ignite before full compression of the pistons, which would cause engine "knocking." So, what type of car you have and the compression ratio of your engine determines what type of gas you should get. The ride quality - again, fitted with cost-optional adaptive damping trickery - has a nice, pleasant pliancy during compression that softens otherwise sharp hits through the suspension, though at times it’s a little too soft. For all the optional seating extras, the front pews are good if not knock-your-pants-off great: reasonable pliancy and okay lateral support, decent if unremarkable leather, and acceptable shapeliness for long-haul comfort. Good enough for many buyers’ tastes, perhaps, but should 'good enough' figure in the high-spec C-Class vernacular? At first glance, the Mercedes C-Class bears a strong resemblance to the E-Class and S-Class - and yes, it certainly does borrow cues including the aggressive front grilles, sweeping character lines, and taut rear end. Most notably, the C-Class now gets the same (optional) semi-autonomous driving tech that's available in the E-Class. Horsepower rises from 241 to 255, while torque remains the same at 273 lb-ft.
