Volkswagen Golf 7, The Legend Continues
The German automaker has officially unveiled the seventh generation of its most legendary compact, the Golf. More modern, streamlined and efficient than ever, the new Volkswagen Golf 7 promises to be another best seller for the Volkswagen Group. On the outside, the new Volkswagen Golf inherits many of the features introduced in the new generation Polo. They draw attention to its sleek front headlamps with a more ragged than usual and a very marked hood. The rear optical hosts a modern, sharp lines connected by a line at the gate. The use of the new MQB modular platform helps reduce the overall weight of 100 kilograms. The new Volkswagen Golf measured 4255 mm long (56 mm more than the Volkswagen Golf VI), has a clearance wheelbase of 2,637 mm (59 mm more than its predecessor). The new measures of Volkswagen Golf allow for a larger cabin and comfortable, where there is more space forlegsin squares and rear trunk, with 380 liters, gains in capacity (30 liters) and comfort when placed in soil only 685 millimeters. In addition, the seats can be folded down completely, leaving a flat floor, and the front passenger seat can also be cut down completely.

The usual variant Blue motion becomes the most efficient Volkswagen Golf history to approve a fuel consumption of just 3.2 liters and CO2 emissions of 85 grams per kilometer. As standard, all variants of the new Volkswagen Golf 7 will have the system of automatic stop-start system and battery regeneration. The Golf manages all that while still being practical enough for most owners. The latest Civic isn鈥檛 as well rounded as the Golf, while its infotainment system is a real letdown, but it鈥檚 more practical and fun to drive than the VW. It finishes ahead of the 308 thanks to lower running costs and engaging handling, while its performance is strong enough to match the 308. Although it鈥檚 not as polished as the VW, it鈥檚 still refined and comfortable. The 308 is practical and stylish, but not as accomplished as the Golf, so it loses out here. It鈥檚 not as good to drive as the Civic, and although the list price is competitive, Peugeot鈥檚 PCP deals can鈥檛 match Honda鈥檚. The PureTech is the best engine of the three and the 308 performed well, but it trails on value, while its updated infotainment isn鈥檛 enough of an improvement. With its solid driving dynamics, strong comfort and impressive space, the Vauxhall Astra is worth a look. The 1.4-litre petrol in Elite Nav trim is good value, because it鈥檚 as well kitted out as our pricier test cars. You also get more power. The 1.2-litre petrol Megane is a match for the three contenders in our test, and it鈥檚 nearly as well equipped as the Astra, too. In addition, the Renault has style on its side, and offers something different again in this class.
The seventh generation Volkswagen Golf GTI may still be the most popular hot block hack out there, but it鈥檚 getting a bit long in the tooth after more than four years on the market. With Ford already working on a new generation Focus ST that will be significantly more powerful than the current Golf GTI, 2021 Volkswagen GTI Release Date will soon have to roll out a new hatch. Not much is known about the upcoming performance hatchback, but he should borrow many design features seen on recently introduced Volkswagen models, including the sporty Arteon sedan. The company also promises a revolution within the cabin, including a 鈥渢otally digital environment,鈥?according to the head of design Klaus Bischoff. We鈥檝e seen it on a number of rebooted models, including the Arteon sedan, which has replaced the CC. The Golf also benefits from a larger front grid, larger headlights, and a more aggressive bumper. The GTI package replaces the horizontal slats in the grid with a honeycomb fabric and adds the traditional red stripe on each side of the logo. Our designer also added C-shaped LED lights to the large, black-painted air slits on each side of the lower grid and a heavily shaped bonnet. On the sides, the upcoming golf shouldn鈥檛 change much, so look for the same traditional hat grill. However, it will sport revamped mirror caps (likely with a carbon fiber option), a muscular belt, and beer core seeds. A new set of wheels completes the look. The rear area is likely to look very familiar, although 2021 Volkswagen GTI Release Date is likely to redesign the tail lights to accommodate new LED lights.
