Hey guys I鈥檓 new here and I wanted to ask if a 2014 Volkswagen CC vr6 4motion is a good buy? I just mean that the CC has a few features that makes is loud and rough, like a sporty car rather than a cushy/quiet car. For example, frameless doors are generally louder than doors with metal frames around the window unless expensive seals and airflow management is used. On the CC we owned (2009 Komfort), road trips were super annoying to me. Tons of wind and road noise compared to any other VW I owned. More road noise than my old MK3.5 Cabrio, way more than my older 98 Passat. It was actually louder (somehow) than my Eos, which has a lot more sealing surfaces for air to be turbulent around. The tires on a CC can help a little, but if you keep the factory rims they'll be very low profile, which adds to the rough and loud ride. People who buy the CC wanting a quiet highway cruiser might be displeased. Then again, I know a lot of people who could care less about how quiet their car is on the highway, so it may not even be something you or others care about or recognize.
