The 2019 Accord is part of a generation that began with the 2018 model year. The only notable change for 2019 is that the 1.5-liter engine is no longer available in Touring models. The 2018 redesign brought a new base turbo-four engine with more power than the 2017 base four-cylinder (192 horsepower up from 185), an optional turbo four-cylinder that replaced the previously available V6, and improved fuel efficiency. Honda also added loads of active safety features to the 2018 Accord, including standard traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and driver drowsiness monitoring, along with available rear cross traffic alert, a head-up display, and blind spot monitoring.
