Suzuki Unveils Slick New Saloon

Indicating its most important market, Suzuki chose to unveil its new mid-size saloon yesterday (July 30) near Detroit, USA. The Kizashi, named after a 2007 concept car, is sized to compete with the likes of the Mazda6 and Honda Accord and will eventually be available with a hybrid powertrain. Although European specifications have yet to be confirmed, the Kizashi (apparently meaning 'something great is coming') has been seen undergoing testing on the gruelling Nurburgring test track, which usually points to a chassis developed for use on European roads. At the launch, Suzuki spoke of a single 2.4-litre petrol engine option, with a V6 and hybrid alternatives arriving in the future. However, we'd expect a turbodiesel version to be available from the start of UK sales. Transmission options include a CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic with paddle shifters and the availability of four-wheel drive. Pictures from the unveiling depict a spacious and well laid out cabin that should compare well to mid-level cars in the D-segment. The Kizashi's exterior style should certainly set it apart too. It's possible that a European version of the Kizashi will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Flashback to the Fifties, when more powerful Buicks had more holes. But they didn't serve any real function then, and still do not today. Still, we like them. Two new exterior colors, Light Quartz Metallic and Gold Mist Metallic, are available for '07. These include hydroformed frame rails for a stiffer body and use of laminated steel with plenty of sound deadening material placed in strategic locations. Buick engineers shaped the outside of the door mirrors to lessen wind noise. Laboratory test results show that the Lucerne is quieter than a Lexus ES 330. This was also evident in a back-to-back driving comparison. Much like the exterior, the Lucerne's interior is cleanly designed with just enough touches of wood and chrome trim to make it luxurious without being opulent. The dashboard is fairly traditional in design with a smallish instrument pod containing three round gauges in front of the steering wheel.

The center stack is located high up for easy access, and contains large knobs for operating the climate control and audio system. Standard on all '07 Buicks is OnStar with Turn-by-Turn service, which allows customers to talk to a live advisor, who in turn downloads complete step-by-step directions to the vehicle through the OnStar system. Audio directions are then automatically played through the vehicle's stereo as they are needed, triggered by the OnStar system's GPS capabilities. Drivers can be directed to their destinations without having to take their hands from the wheel or eyes from the road. And a touch-screen navigation system that can display a map is also available. Buyers who want seating for six can order a traditional front bench seat. Most people instead opt for bucket seats, which provide a good level of comfort and come with an armrest in the center console. Rear-seat passengers are well taken care of with good headroom and excellent leg room.

The long wheelbase also allows for a wider-opening rear door with almost no intrusion from the wheel well, making it easy to get in and out of the car. The Buick Lucerne is a smooth but spirited car. The ride quality is excellent, thanks to its long wheelbase and stiff body structure. In back-to-back driving along a stretch of less-than-perfect road, we found the Lucerne's ride quality comparable to that of the benchmark Toyota Avalon. Buick loyalists who are used to a cushy ride will not complain about the Lucerne. It might be stiffer than they are used to, but it's still plenty smooth. The steering is precise and responsive, and the suspension is well controlled, even at high speeds along not always smooth roads. The CXS comes with Magnetic Ride Control, which we found improved the handling a bit, though the differences were not dramatic. Magnetic Ride Control is an adaptive damping system designed to enhance overall ride performance. With Magnetic Ride Control, the shock absorbers are filled with a synthetic fluid in which magnetically charged particles are suspended.

BRAKE Red Light Vw Touareg 2019 Tdi

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 T810N 24,6 cm 9,7 Zoll Tablet PC WiFi 2 Quad Core Prozessoren, 1,9GHz 1,3GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB, Android 5.0 wei reviewThere is a wire embedded in the brake pads. When the brake pads wear down, this wire gets broken, which turns on the brake wear light. Volkswagen products also use bi-metalic brake pads. That means that there are metal particles in the brake pads so they stop quicker. Ever notice how your brakes squeak and squeal more than other cars, especially on the cold? Or notice how your wheels are always filthy? Bi-metalic brake pads will cause that. They have great stopping power, but they are noisy, make tons of dust, and wear down faster than other types of brakes. If you're wondering why the light went out, it's because your brake dust has metal particles in it. Your brake dust conducts electricity. The wire in your brake pads that I was talking about is broken, but not all the way. The conductive brake dust can sometimes bridge the connection and turn out the light. Once you drive more and the wire gets broken all the way, the light won't turn off until you get your brakes replaced.

The cameras provide a crystal-clear view of anything within several feet of the K900, providing potential safety benefits as well as easier maneuvering in tight spaces. A Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) is standard on the V6 Technology Package and both V8 models. The camera-based LDWS monitors the K900’s position and provides an audible warning to the driver when the vehicle begins to drift too close to the lane markers. First introduced on the Cadenza, the K900 is available with radar-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC)3. Included within the V6 Technology Package, and VIP Package on the V8, ASCC adjusts vehicle speed to help maintain a set distance to the vehicle in front and even has the ability to bring the K900 to a full stop. For added convenience, the system will also automatically accelerate the vehicle once traffic allows. The K900 introduces Kia’s first use of Advanced Vehicle Safety Management (AVSM)7.

A flagship should be equipped with the proper running gear, and the all-new 2015 K900 lacks for nothing. The K900 introduces the first V8 engine offered in a Kia sedan. The Tau DOHC all-aluminum 32-valve five-liter engine produces 420 horsepower. The engine is designed for efficiency with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) and dual CVVT variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust. A special tuned air intake improves airflow while a roller-type timing chain and Teflon coated crank oil seal reduce frictional losses. The fast-heating catalytic converter helps reduce emissions and is of a lightweight design. The V8 is mated to a new smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. Shift mapping is variable depending on the driver-selectable settings of Eco, Normal and Sport, and each mode also adjusts the electric steering’s sensitivity. The 3.8-liter Lamba V6 produces 311 horsepower, making it the most powerful V6 in the Kia lineup. A three-step Variable Intake System (VIS) is designed to provide optimum low- and mid-range torque.

Similar to the V8, the Lamba V6 features GDI and CVVT technology to help improve efficiency. A variable-load oil pump maintains optimum pressure at both low and high speeds. Like its more powerful sibling, the V6 also is mated to the same eight-speed transmission with gear ratios tailored to best match the engine application. An advanced five-link fully independent front and rear suspension soaks up road imperfections while also managing to communicate what’s happening at each corner. Mounted on a sub-frame to isolate road shocks, the front suspension has coaxial coil-spring shock absorbers and a new friction bearing in the steering column to enhance straight-line stability and steering precision. At the rear, the suspension sub-frame also houses the differential, and the coil springs and shock absorbers are separate units, allowing for negative camber for improved cornering ability. The rear-drive layout of the K900 encourages spirited driving, and the solid chassis, consisting of 75 percent high and ultra-high tensile strength steel, utilizes advanced manufacturing methods that result in a body shell with exceptional strength and torsional rigidity. The K900 V8 includes as standard equipment staggered P245/45P-19 front and P275/40R-19 rear tires on 19-inch chrome alloy wheels while the V6 rides on 18-inch alloy wheels shod with P245/50R-18 tires. NVH is kept to a minimum with standard laminated front and side window glass and generous use of sound reducing materials.

For those who are 21 to 24 years of age, they are now allowed to rent a car by larger car hire companies but with additional fees. 100. Aside from this, younger drivers being limited in the type of cars they can rent. No high-end cars. Just the cheapest options. While there are still luxury car rental companies that are willing to rent specialty vehicles to younger drivers, the daily surcharge can get very high. For those who want to rent a car within the ages of 18 to 21, you might want to recheck your options. Most car hire companies don't allow drivers of those ages to hire their cars. There are certain exceptions like certain states in the US like New York and Michigan. There, drivers 21 below are allowed to rent by law. However, car hire companies slap an obnoxious surcharge to either discourage rentals or to make up for the worst possible scenario.

A Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm To Address Compatibility And Uncertainty

A novel approach using a Genetic Algorithm (GA) is presented for extracting globally satisficing (Pareto optimal) solutions from a morphological chart, where the evaluation and combination of 'means to subfunctions' is modelled as a combinatorial multi-objective optimisation problem. A fast and robust GA is developed to solve the resulting optimisation problem. Customised crossover and mutation operators that are specifically tailored to solve this combinatorial optimisation problem are discussed. Proof-of-concept simulation results on industrial design problems, viz. The described genetic algorithm incorporates features to prevent the redundant evaluation of identical solutions and a method for handling the compatibility matrix (feasible/infeasible combinations) and addressing desirable/undesirable combinations. The proposed approach is limited by its reliance on the user-specified metrics for evaluating the objectives and existence of a mathematical representation of the combined solutions. A method motivated from robust optimisation techniques is presented to reduce the effect of these limitations by addressing the sensitivity to variation in the input parameters. The optimisation architecture is designed to be a scalable and flexible procedure which can be easily modified to accommodate a wide variety of design methods that are based on the morphological chart.

Karibu PROSPER !: 11/1/15

During the war footing, as popular up policy for the masses Adolf Hitler in Germany, proposed a "national car initiative", as national car of Germany in 1938, Volkswagen Beetle is born. The car was developed by the founder Ferdinand Porsche of the hands of the Porsche company. Since the Second World War has been the war in 1939, national car concept in mass production just before derailed, Kubelwagen of military vehicles were produced instead. Dictator, although it is notorious Hitler as war criminals, this national car concept and the autobahn of construction, has been evaluated as his achievements. On the other hand, the United States Army that focuses on activities of Kubelwagen at the time of the invasion of Poland in Germany developed a small four-wheel-drive Jeep (Jeep) in 1941, was put into combat. Also Jeep 600,000 as a military vehicle of Allied production, it went scattered to the battlefield around the world. Also, after the war, it is knocked down production in the world, a huge number of dispatched at type jeep is born.

Once the engine is fully warmed up, for maximum power and fuel efficiency fuel is injected during the intake stroke. This helps create a more homogeneous fuel/air mix in the cylinder that is aided by the high-tumble intake port design. This improves volumetric efficiency, and the cooling effect of the incoming fuel improves anti-knock performance. Both turbocharged Accord powerplants feature mono scroll IHI turbochargers with small-diameter, low-inertia turbines for maximum responsiveness. The mono scroll housing design helps the turbo build boost even at relatively small throttle openings and low engine rpm. The electrically actuated wastegate allows boost pressure to be precisely controlled. A large air low-restriction intercooler is positioned low in the front of the car where it receives unobstructed airflow when the vehicle is in motion. The intercooler helps reduce the temperature of air entering the engine, increasing its density for greater performance. Intake air travels from the air filter, to the turbo compressor, on to the intercooler, then to the engine's intake ports. To reduce weight, the turbo system is plumbed with rigid, lightweight resin composite inlet pipes to carry intake air to and from the intercooler.

Accord Sport models offer available 6-speed manual transmissions (6MT) with either the 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbocharged engines. The two manual transmissions are engineered to match the displacement and torque output of the engine they are paired with. Both units offer smooth and precise shift feel and great efficiency, making them the perfect complement to the Accord's sporting side. A constant-mesh helical reverse gear mechanism significantly reduces noise when reverse is used. A reverse lockout feature prevents the transmission from accidentally being shifted into reverse while the car is moving forward. Accord 1.5-liter offers the responsiveness and efficiency of an available Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) has smooth and predictable gear ratio transitions and excellent acceleration matched with efficient low-rpm cruising. A wide ratio spread results in strong acceleration performance coupled with reduced engine rpm at high road speeds. The redesigned CVT has an 11-percent lower ratio compared to the previous-generation version for more powerful launch performance. The Accord CVT has a special G-design shift logic that is designed to offer more immediate acceleration response than other CVT designs. During full throttle acceleration, G-Design shift logic employs stepped ratios as the vehicle speed increases.

This helps give the transmission a more "connected" feel as the engine rpm and vehicle speed increase together. This stepped operation also improves acceleration performance incrementally. The transmission can be operated in three different fully automatic forward modes with the console-mounted straight-gate shifter. The D mode is ideal for most driving situations, and combines fuel efficiency with smooth operation and responsive power when needed. The S mode is for more performance-oriented driving and features more aggressive transmission mapping to keep engine rpm higher for greater acceleration and response, while also providing greater engine braking. The L mode is ideal for situations when additional engine braking is desired, such as in mountainous driving. Accord 2.0-liter models are available with a new, Honda-developed 10-speed automatic transmission (10AT), the first of its kind in the Accord's segment. Engineered for high efficiency with low internal inertia and an exceptionally wide ratio range, the 10AT maximizes the Accord's performance and fuel efficiency.

Compared to the previous 6-speed automatic, the 10AT is 22 lbs. 68 percent wider overall ratio range with a 43 percent lower first gear and a 17 percent taller top gear. The 10AT is designed to be lightweight and compact. It features four planetary gear sets that work together to provide an exceptionally wide ratio spread of 10.139:1 compared to 6.041:1 on the previous-generation Honda Accord's 6-speed unit. The 10-speed also has substantially faster upshift and downshift performance than the previous generation 6-speed transmission. To maximize fuel efficiency and minimize interior noise, the transmission's 10th gear is exceptionally tall, resulting in quiet and relaxed cruising rpm. In the 2018 Accord with 10-speed automatic transmission, the conventional shift lever is replaced with a fully electronic, shift-by-wire gear selector. Park, Neutral and Drive are selected with the push of a button. Reverse is selected by pulling back a dedicated switch. Indicator lights on or next to the buttons indicate the mode selected.

Marketing mishegos aside, "Piech's folly" is a superb car: relatively quick, preposterously quiet and completely comfortable. Lest we forget, VW Chairman Ferdinand Piech is something of a master engineer. He was directly responsible for Porsche's 917; a race car so dominant they canceled the entire race series. Piech also willed the Bugatti Veyron into existence. The Touareg V10 TDI was born from the same world-crushing crucible as the Phaeton and the Veyron. So, how does the uber-oil burner measure up? NASA's Saturn V rocket burns fuel at the rate of 20 tons per second. The V10 Touareg isn't far behind. Volkswagen laughably lists the 5,825 lbs. SUV's city mileage at 15 mpg. But there's a real time fuel economy meter informing the pilot that even gentle acceleration results in a wallet-draining 3.6 mpg. Get this: it won't display any lower. The trade off for such irresponsible fuel consumption: power: endless bucketfuls of forward momentum. The Touareg sports a 5.0-liter, 90-degree diesel V10 with an 18:1 compression ratio fed by twin turbochargers. The diesel-fed mega-mill is capable of an impressive-for-a-diesel 310 horsepower. Pfffft. The oil-burning Touareg stumps-up a mind-numbing 553 ft.-lbs.

In any gear, on any incline, on any surface capable of providing what's laughably called "traction," a gentle toe flick sends the Touareg TDI hurtling forward as if it's strapped to the back of a pulling NFL guard. The big VW may not be as quick as the (slightly) lighter Lotus Elise- the TDI Touareg hits 60 mph in 7.5 seconds- but the feeling is equally thrilling. Breaking Newtonian laws always is. And if you're interested, the SUV tops out at 144 mph. I can read your mind: here we are again in Muscle Car Land. In other words, "stick a monster engine in a Sub-Zero and it'll go like Hell- and handle like a refrigerator." Before 2006- when VW redesigned their off-roader with some 2500 parts- you would have been right. When Farago drove the pre-'06 Touareg TDI, he called it The Mother of All Nose-Heavy Pigs. I have no clue how the lesser new Touaregs handle, but the big diesel is shockingly competent. True, the steering, brakes, air suspension (and engine) are all over-boosted.

There's an artificial numbness to the driving experience that's about as far away from "driver's car" as Lincoln Town Car. That said, I was bombing down curvy roads at 80 to 90 mph in absolute control. Roads that challenge my Subaru WRX at similar speeds. Much of this surefootedness comes from the mammoth 275/45/R19 tires and the uber-trick AWD (now called 4XMotion) system. But the aforementioned air suspension also deserves maximum credit. Switching between modes in a car with adjustable suspension is normally an unclothed emperor endeavor. When a professional driver screaming around a test track tells you there's a big difference, you tend to believe them. Not so with the Touareg. Twisting a knob gives you access to six levels of ride height as well as Sport, Auto and Comfort modes. Select Sport mode and the Touareg hunkers down and amps-up the road feel (to the point where there is some). Comfort raises the car up a few inches.

New Jaguar F-Type Coupe Chequered Flag 2019 Review

Parenteral drug deliveryThe Jaguar F-Type has always been a left-field choice alongside thoroughbred sports cars like the Porsche 911. What it lacked in outright precision it more than made up for in deep-chested character. In addition, Jaguar has also announced the F-Type Chequered Flag special edition. Production isn’t limited by numbers, but instead cars will be built to order for the duration of the model year. We’re now driving said special for the first time, in rear-wheel drive P380 Coupe guise. The Chequered Flag badge has been applied to both the 2.0-litre four-cylinder and 3.0-litre V6 models to celebrate 70 years of Jaguar sports cars. The lineage started in 1948 with the legendary XK120 and stretches seven decades through D-Type, E-Type and XK150, as well as the seventies XJ-S and nineties XK8. All F-Type Chequered Flag models feature 20-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers and an SVO-spec body kit with bespoke badging.

2018 PORSCHE 911 GT3 + 신형 포르쉐 배경화면 + 991 GT3 - 블로그Together, it’s enough to give even the entry-level Ingenium models a whiff of flagship V8 style. At £72,715, our car commands a premium of £5,760 over the equivalent P380 R-Dynamic model, which seems a little steep given the standard car’s generous kit list. There are just three paint colours to choose from, but if you rate the styling tweaks and extra exclusivity, it’s worth a look. Inside there’s special Windsor leather, contrast stitching and black suede headlining, as well as a red 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel. There’s some dark aluminium trim on the dash, but otherwise is standard F-Type fare. That’s no bad thing. Even six years since it launched, the Jag Coupe feels well built inside. The infotainment system is a little laggy - and still lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity - but the way the cabin cocoons around you ensures you’re rarely distracted from the task in hand. And the F-Type remains a car of unparalleled character - at least in V6 trim. The engine is raucous, and while it can’t match the almost anti-social V8 for noise, the constant underlying burble feels perfectly judged; fizzing away at idle and gargling purposefully around town. Find a piece of open road however and the engine comes alive, screaming to the redline with a soundtrack like no other. A new (or old, for that matter) 911 is sharper to drive; the steering better judged and the chassis more compliant. But that doesn’t mean the F-Type feels aged or misjudged. It’s still a fantastic all-rounder, with an excellent eight-speed automatic gearbox and acceptable motorway refinement. We tried our rear-wheel-drive Coupe back-to-back with an all-wheel-drive Convertible, and the difference was night and day. The AWD system makes the F-Type a fantastic all-weather car; where the drop-top gripped with unflappable traction, its fixed-roof sibling displayed a keen propensity to step out with all the driver aids disabled.

We already mentioned the various stereo interfaces and such; as with just about every car, there is mobile phone connectivity. It also had leather seats, with dual-zone automatic climate control and a cooled glove box. The front seats were power adjustable (12 ways up front) with power lumbar support. There were front and rear foot well and map lights and illuminated vanity mirrors along with map lights. The tailgate could go up manually or with power; it went down with power, given a shove or press of a button. The electric parking brake is a bit of a nuisance but since most people don’t actually engage their hand-brakes properly, we can see why they use it. We could not figure out if it could be set up to automatically engage when we shifted into Park. The usual gadgets were all present: cruise, trip computer, garage door opener, express power windows, LED daytime running lights and taillights, and front fog lamps.

These also doubled as corner lamps. The final features, again all standard on Lux, were power adjustable/folding/heated exterior mirrors with memory, an auto-dimming rearview and driver’s side exterior mirror, rain sensing wipers with heated washer nozzles (a life-saver at times), and — a hitch. 10,000 less than the Volkswagen. The Jeep would actually come with more standard features, including vented seats. The warranty is better than Chrysler’s, with the same 3/36 standard bumper-to-bumper provision but a 10/100 powertrain setup and a 12 year corrosion-perforation (rust through) guarantee. Roadside assistance comes for three years or 36,000 miles. Volkswagen provides a year’s worth (or 10,000 miles) of free maintenance. 2,500. This included adaptive cruise control with “front assist” (warnings and automatic braking as needed), the lane departure warning, and a heated steering wheel. You may wonder where it all came from. The car is assembled in Slovakia, as are 31% of the parts.

Nissan Leaf Vs. Volkswagen E-Golf

BMW F30 320D 페이스리프트 신형3시리즈 블랙박스, 안개등LED - 블로그The Nissan Leaf is by far the best-selling electric car in the world, with almost 250,000 units sold as of mid-2016. But it's only one among a handful of all-electric, five-seat small cars sold in the U.S. Other five-door compact hatchbacks include the BMW i3, the lower-volume Ford Focus Electric and Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive, and a new entry launched for 2015, the Volkswagen e-Golf. Which one should you buy--the newer e-Golf, or the now more capable Leaf? When the electric VW appeared at dealerships in fall 2014, the technical specs of the e-Golf and Nissan Leaf were all but identical. The Leaf is now rated at 107 miles, while the VW stays at 83 miles--a notable difference. The e-Golf remains largely unchanged for 2017, but it is expected to receive a similar boost in capacity for the 2018 model year. For now, since we don't know anything about the 2017 Leaf, this comparison isn't quite complete since we've updated the way we rate cars. Range rating aside, the Leaf and e-Golf take diametrically opposed approaches to designing and selling electric cars.

The VW e-Golf is simply one of several different powertrains in the lineup of the seventh-generation Golf that launched last year. You have to look carefully to see that it's not a conventional Golf powered by a gasoline or diesel engine. The Leaf, on the other hand, is a dedicated electric vehicle sold only with battery power (though various underpinnings have been adapted from other Nissan models). After selling 90,000-plus Leafs in the U.S., the shape of Nissan's electric car is a familiar one--at least in places like California, where cars with plugs sell well. The design is distinctive and polarizing, with long headlights that sweep back almost to the base of the windshield and a snub nose with no grille at all, just a large central door that covers the charge ports. Golf, meaning a crisp-edged, conservatively styled hatchback obviously descended from the first Golf/Rabbit that hit U.S. 1970s to replace the mainstay Beetle.

On the road, the Leaf's steering, brakes, and handling are all competent, unremarkable, and noted only for being slightly numb. It's been called "appliance-like," which isn't necessarily as insulting as it may sound. Everything works, as expected, quietly and competently. The Golf is peppier and behaves more like a driver's car, with the same roadholding abilities as its four-cylinder counterparts--although it's had to be retuned for the added weight of the battery pack. The Golf interior is all but identical to that of any other Golf, while the Leaf's control layout and dashboard has some resemblance to the Space Age design of the Toyota Prius hybrid. The Leaf's battery packs, of 24 or 30 killowatt-hours (of which it uses about 85 percent) is not liquid-cooled. In earlier cars, that could lead to rapid capacity loss in extremely hot climates. A 2015 change to the battery chemistry makes the cells in the current car far more resistant to heat degradation, and Nissan says that has solved the problem. The VW's 24.2-kwh pack isn't liquid-cooled either, but no stories have emerged thus far about its durability.

Both cars have electric motors powering the front wheels, with outputs of 80 kilowatts (110 horspower) for the Leaf, and 85 kW (114 hp) for the e-Golf. The e-Golf can charge at up to 7.2 kw, meaning it will finish recharging a little quicker than the Leaf, which is fitted with a 6.6-kW charger onboard charger on all except the base model (which charges at 3.3 kW). The two cars are also all but identical in passenger volume: 91 cubic feet for the e-Golf, 92 cubic feet for the Leaf. The e-Golf has only 17 cubic feet behind the rear seat, though, against the Leaf rated at 24 cubic feet. That may be the penalty VW pays for using stampings adapted from those for gasoline cars. 40,000 if lavishly outfitted. With such similar specifications for certain model comparisons, buyers have three questions to consider. First, does a 107-mile range compared to 83 miles trump all other considerations? On that measure, the risk-averse will opt for the e-Golf.

In addition, there are three direct injection diesel-powered engines for the Touareg, all combined with a particle filter (DPF) as standard equipment. The TDIs have output of 128 kW / 174 hp (TDI), 165 kW / 225 hp (V6 TDI) and 230 kW / 313 hp (V10 TDI). Front section design. The front section of the Touareg was completely redesigned. Except for the engine hood no part remained untouched.

The new Touareg is immediately recognizable as the latest generation by the typical Volkswagen crest radiator grill in chrome design. Although always individually designed for each model, it has become an unmistakable stylistic feature of the brand. The second distinctive feature of the new generation Touareg are the organically shaped headlight casings (optionally bi-xenon with cornering and turning light). Similar to the latest Volkswagens such as the Eos, the lower area features a round curvature. A single glance at the headlights and the crest radiator grill makes it evident that the front bumper has also been completely redesigned. In silhouette it's the new light alloy wheels and the aerodynamic mirrors that identify the latest generation of the Touareg. New colors are also available: "Atacama Grey Metallic", "Mountain Grey Metallic", "Artic Blue-Silver Metallic", "Silver Leaf Metallic", "Sierra Red Pearl Effect" and "Galapagos Anthracite Metallic". Seating system. A basic and a "comfort" seating system is available for the Touareg. The "comfort" seating system was redesigned for the latest Touareg. The partially leather ("Cricket") and fully leather ("Nappa") seats are now not just distinguishable by leather, but also by design. Both are also distinguished from the unchanged basic seating system. In general, the back seat of all versions were redesigned. It weighs eight kilos less and when folded down now offers a level surface between backrest and cargo floor.

Charging is possible by using a regular wall plug or a charging station. Public charging is always done through a charging station. How fast the EV can charge depends on the charging station (EVSE) used and the maximum charging capacity of the EV. The table below shows all possible options for charging the Volkswagen e-Golf. Each option shows how fast the battery can be charged from empty to full. Charging an EV in Europe differs by country. Some European countries primarily use 1-phase connections to the grid, while other countries are almost exclusively using a 3-phase connection. The table below shows all possible ways the Volkswagen e-Golf can be charged, but some modes of charging might not be widely available in certain countries. Limited by on-board charger, vehicle cannot charge faster. Rapid charging enables longer journeys by adding as much range as possible in the shortest amount of time. Charging power will decrease significantly after 80% state-of-charge has been reached. A typical rapid charge therefore rarely exceeds 80% SoC. The rapid charge rate of an EV depends on the charger used and the maximum charging power the EV can handle. The table below shows all details for rapid charging the Volkswagen e-Golf. Actual charging rates may differ from data shown due to factors like outside temperature, state of the battery and driving style. The previous model had 60 km less range, 8% slower acceleration and was 6% more energy efficient.

Von Willebrand's Disease In Dogs

테슬라 모델3 발표 가격은 35000달러(4032만원)부터 - 블로그There are many factors that affect how well blood clots. If a dog is missing any one of these crucial factors, a clotting disorder will develop. Dogs with clotting disorders will bleed more than a typical dog, and may have life-threatening bleeds during routine surgeries, like neutering. The most common clotting disorder in dogs is called von Willebrand's Disease, which is often detected by a common screening tests at the veterinarian's office (the so-called gum prick test). During surgery, the animal may bleed profusely, triggering suspicion of von Willebrand's Disease (vWD). Some breeds are more likely to have vWD and will be tested specifically for the problem by their breeder. What is von Willebrand's Disease? Animals who do not have a normal level of von Willebrand's Factor (vWF) will not form blood clots in a normal time frame. WF is crucial for normal platelet function, and the lack of vWF will prevent platelets from aggregating properly at a wound site.

Willebrand Factor is made by the epithelium lining the blood vessels. It acts as a "glue" to bind platelets to the site of the wound. When a dog doesn't have a normal level of vWF, the platelets cannot bind to the broken blood vessel walls, which causes prolonged bleeding. Fortunately, most dogs have a mild presentation of von Willebrand's. This means that the bleeding disorder will rarely cause problems, and your pet will likely have a full life. Some forms of von Willebrand's are more severe and these dogs require specialized care. Most dogs are screened for clotting disorders prior to surgery. A test known as the mucosal bleeding test is generally performed before spay and neuter operations. The vet will prick the gum of the dog and the time to clot formation is noted. Dogs with a prolonged clotting time may have one of several disorders, including von Willebrand's.

VOLKSWAGEN GROUP OF AMERICA ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE AT ELECTRIFY AMERICAVOLKSWAGEN GROUP OF AMERICA ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE AT ELECTRIFY AMERICA - Volkswagen Media Site - 웹
There are two specific tests for vWD: one is a genetic test, and the other measures activity of vW Factor in the blood. Veterinarians can order both tests. How do Dogs get von Willebrand's? Willebrand's Disease is a hereditary clotting disorder, where levels of von Willebrand's Factor are less than 60% of normal. There are three types of vWD in dogs: the first type tends to be mild, and the last two types are severe. Type I vWD: occurs in many breeds, and the dogs have a reduced level of von Willebrand's Factor. The severity of the bleeding increases as the level of vWF decreases. This type is inherited as an "incomplete dominant," meaning that puppies will inherit it from their affected parent, but the degree will vary depending on how much of the gene is expressed. Two pups from the same litter may have dramatically different levels of vWF.

This type is the most mild type, and most dogs live a full life. If both parents have the vWF gene, puppies who inherit both copies of the gene will be stillborn or die shortly after birth. Type II vWD: This type is extremely severe and causes profuse bleeds in affected dogs. This type of vWD is not caused by a low level of von Willebrand's Factor, but by an abnormally functioning factor. This type of vWD is seen in the pointer breeds. This is the rarest of the vWD types. Type III vWD: This type is also rare and extremely severe. These dogs do not have any von Willebrand's Factor at all. This type of von Willebrand's is autosomal recessive, so carriers of the disorder will not display any type of bleeding disorder at all. 25% of the puppies will inherit the bleeding disorder (getting both copies of the gene). Up to 10% of Scottish Terriers carry this gene, making the disorder a serious problem for breeders.

Many dog breeds are affected by Type I vWD, the mildest version of the disease. Type II vWD is extremely rare, and has been observed in the German Short-Haired Pointer. Type III vWD is also rare and has been reported in the Scottish Terrier, Shetlands, and (rarely) in Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Aggressive play should be kept to a minimum. Visits to the dog park, for example, could be dangerous for a dog with von Willebrand's. If another animal bites or otherwise injures the dog, profuse bleeding could result. All dogs should undergo a clotting screening prior to surgery, and breeds with a known predisposition to the more severe forms of vWD should have genetic testing performed. Any dog with a known clotting disorder should receive prophylactic treatment before any surgery is considered. There is no cure for von Willebrand's, but appropriate steps may be taken to ensure the animal is kept as healthy as possible. Transfusions of vWF are possible for dogs with a more severe form of the disorder (or for dogs who have recently undergone trauma). For dogs with known vWD, an elective transfusion may be given prior to any surgery to ensure the dog does not bleed excessively during the procedure. Many dogs who have vWD also have a low thyroid hormone level. Dogs with von Willebrand's should have their thyroid level tested and treated, if low, to help improve blood clotting ability. Dog HealthWhat is Addison's Disease in Dogs? Oh, he looks great. Be careful with heavy exercise because of the von Willebrand's!

Cheap European Or American Luxury Cars From Japanese Car Auctions

Japanese auto makers such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Subaru are known world wide for producing high quality, efficient and durable cars. Car auctions in Japan give you the chance to buy and export a used Japanese brand car to your country, usually with big savings on similar priced cars you can find in your local dealership. But Japanese drivers also love foreign brands such as Audi, Bentley, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedez Benz, Porsche, Volvo and Volkswagon. It's possible to find these luxury cars very cheaply at Japanese car auctions and you can certainly make a very good saving on buying and exporting from Japan. Japanese drivers take care of their vehicles and because of rigorous safety inspections, taxes and other fees it is more cost effective for a Japanese driver to change their car to a newer model regularly. This means a large pool of well maintained used cars for sale and export.

Your first step to finding a cheap luxury car is to find a reputable dealer. Second hand car dealers don't have the most solid of reputations to begin with and there are cases of foreign buyers being ripped off by dodgey dealers, but these are definately in the minority. First, check out the dealers website and see if they have full contact and bank information and are members of the JUMVEA which is the Japanese government sanctioned trade body for foreign car exporters. Membership means that members have to abide by a code of best practice. Also, make sure that the company is registered with the local government - they should display a government trade license number. Second, test communication with the dealer by either sending an email or calling (many dealers have Skype or similar so you can do it for free). In your initial emails look out for quality of English, timely response and level of details in the answer.

Unanswered or evasive answers and poor quality English may lead to misunderstandings later on. Once you have contacted several dealers and filtered some out you can start to browse seriously for a car. Generally you can either buy directly from the dealers stock of cars (which they make have from spotting a bargin at auction and bought for later resale) or request they look for something for you at auctions. You can have a very specific or very general request and the dealer will try to find something and send you deatils of the cars. All the major car auctions are online and dealers have access to national daily auctions giving a choice of upto 40,000 cars a day! Once you get the car details you can decide to bid or not, send a maximum price you want to bid and sit back and wait for the result! The dealer will try to get the lowest price for you so you don't pay more than you have to. Once you have won a car then you also have to consider paying for paperwork fees, transportation, shipping, insurance and customs import taxes when the car arrives in your country. You also have to make sure the car complies with all local auto regulations. Some dealers may help you with this especially if they are in your own country, but others will probably not give much help. Therefore before you buy make sure you know what you will have to do to make the car legal in your own country. Japanese used car auctions are a great source of both Japanese and European/America brand quality used cars.

ABT Sportsline has pumped new blood into the second generation Audi SQ5 by making it 20 percent more powerful than the stock version. It's unknown what exactly the tuner did to it, but the sportiest luxury compact SUV made in Ingolstadt pushes 425 PS and 550 Nm of torque, which is 71 PS and 50 Nm more than the stock model. ABT believes that the extra muscle should be reflected in the bodywork, so they have also developed a few exterior upgrades for the new Audi SQ5. However, they're not ready yet, but still, those looking into a bit more could choose one of the wheels offered by the Bavarian company, in 20- and 21-inch diameters, available in different patterns and various finishes. The tuner hasn’t forgotten about those that chose other versions of the second-gen Audi Q5, and says that a "performance injection" is coming to the 2.0-liter TFSI engine that normally makes 252 PS. A small power bump is also planned for the 2.0-liter TDI version, which will raise its output from 190 PS and 400 Nm of torque, to 215 PS and 440 Nm of torque.

2016 Volkswagen Golf Reviews and Rating - Motor Trend
Volkswagen has finally launched its new Scirocco coupe and CAR has tested the first production versions. Perhaps VW has simply been too busy frantically filling every other market segment it could identify, including some its customers clearly failed to. Happily, we now seem to have someone rather more badge-savvy at the sharp end than VW uber alles obsessed Piech, and they correctly consider a Scirocco to be a better people’s car-proposition than a Phaeton. It’s a whopping 34 years since Giugiaro’s stunning Mk1 hit the streets and, more significantly, at least 15 years since the somewhat bland Mk2 succumbed to alternative employment wedging open the Pearly Gates. You, of course, will remember who’s responsible for that epic backward leap in all things styling-related. I confess, I hated it so much I never bothered to find out, always considering the elegant Corrado to be the original Scirocco’s true spiritual successor. We’re still none the wiser as to how to categorise the Scirocco today, but I’ll settle for a cut-price coupe. So the new Scirocco has lashings of Golf under the skin, then?
